Difficulty: Easy
Conditions: Rainy - from sprinkles to moderate steady rain. Light to moderate wind through the tree tops. Fast moving clouds. Trails wet (obviously) but not too muddy. Creek flowing well but not near flood height.
Thoughts/Observations:
Great hike even with the rain. As a matter of fact I greatly enjoy being out in a rain shower (as long as there is no lightening). My Frogg Toggs worked great. I stayed comfortably dry even in the harder showers. No one else brave enough (or crazy enough!) to be in the park today, so my fellow trail-mates were gray squirrels (lots of them scampering about). Passerines and crows were moving about as well, just not as much as the squirrels.
GOD can keep us safe and dry from the storms of life, even better than a good rain suit kept me dry from the rain shower today! "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge HIM and HE shall direct your paths." (Prov. 3:5-6)
