Thoughts/Observations:
Enjoyed a wonderful Easter afternoon hike along the Lakeside Trail (one of my modifications of the Swayback Bridge Trail of Legends). Spring is in its prime -- much better here than at Cheaha last week. My eyes were greeted to a myriad of wildflower blooms - white, yellow, gold, blue, indigo, pink, lavendar, and rose. Cosmos, violets, phlox, iris, dogwood, and others I could not identify-- all graced the trail side and fields. My ears were serenaded by birdsong throughout the hike. What a wonderful way to end Easter? Thank YOU, LORD, for this special treat. It is a sight that rivals the spring hike in the Superstition Wilderness of years ago
12 "For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills Shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
-- Isaiah 55:12 (NKJV)
